About IGEA
The Iranian Geothermal Energy Association (IGEA), founded in 2015, is a scientific, educational and cultural organization established to operate worldwide.
The IGEA is an Iranian non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization composed of Iranian active experts, companies, industries, institutes, professors, researchers and students in the field of geothermal energy who do related research in national and international level, cooperate with educational and research institutes, support geothermal energy researchers and students by granting funds, scholarships, prizes etc. in order to develop the use of geothermal energy, conducting educational, technical and research projects, holding conferences, workshops and meetings in national, regional and international levels and publishing related books, journals and statistical data. IGEA advocates for public policies that will promote the development and utilization of geothermal resources, provides a forum for the industry to discuss issues and problems, encourages research and development to improve geothermal technologies, and presents industry views to governmental organizations.
IGEA main office is located in 4th Floor, Building renewable energy, (NRI) Niroo research institute complex of IRAN, , Western End of Dadman ( Poonak Bakhtari) Blvd., Shahrak-e- Qods,Tehran, I.R. IRAN.
